Leslie Jones, Laverne Cox, Josh Gad e Tatiana Maslany hanno presentato le nomination per gli Emmy Awards 2020, ovvero la 72° edizione di quello che è universalmente riconosciuto come l’Oscar della televisione.
Una presentazione che si è svolta completamente online a causa dell’emergenza coronavirus che sta flagellando gli USA e il resto del mondo, e che probabilmente vedrà anche l’evento di premiazione trasformato in un’edizione virtuale.
Netflix ha portato a casa la bellezza di 160 candidature totali, con Ozark che è stata la sua serie più nominata (con 18 candidature), seguita da The Crown, Dead to me, The Politician e Stranger Things. HBO si è fermata a “sole” 107 candidature, guidata da Watchmen che ha raggiunto le 26 candidature e La fantastica Signora Maisel, invece, che ne ha ottenute ben 20.
The Mandalorian, la serie in live action di Star Wars, ha invece riportato 15 nomination.
